TSAR OHV UNIT

OHVs (Off-Highway Vehicles), such as ATVs, UTVs, 4WD vehicles, off-road motorcycles, and snowmobiles, have their place in search and rescue. Members of the Taos Search and Rescue OHV team use their personal off-road vehicles in the service of the team. The OHV unit can assist in several search tasks, such as transportation of team members or equipment to remote areas, the evacuation of search subjects, or rapid searches over large amounts of ground.
